Startup Award: ALSO supports young technology companies
The winners will gain access to the ALSO ecosystem in order to drive the marketing of their products. With over 110,000 resellers and in a total of 90 countries worldwide, this offers an excellent opportunity to check the scalability of their setup. ALSO can support the winners with IT or manpower to the equivalent of up to 20,000 euros, if additional effort is needed to launch or improve marketability. The young companies also benefit from active marketing by experienced sales teams. In addition, they will receive continuous support from in-house as well as external experts ranging from the ALSO CEO to ICT industry experts and buyers.
To apply for the Startup Award, companies must submit a business case presentation in which they showcase their business model and explain the potential and innovative power of their idea for the IT industry. A jury of experts will select the most promising applicants, who will then be invited to a live presentation, which will take place virtually in mid-September. The final winners will be announced at the end of September.
Gustavo Möller-Hergt, CEO of ALSO Holding AG (SIX: ALSN) emphasizes: “With the award, we are on the one hand creating an important springboard for young technology companies, as experience with the winners of previous competition rounds shows. In addition to a large network, we offer them a platform for direct cooperation and sales opportunities with ALSO vendor partners and ICT resellers. On the other hand, ALSO partners can gain a competitive advantage by marketing new innovative solutions. The award creates a win-win situation for everyone involved.”
