Personnel changes in the Group Management of ALSO Holding AG and at ALSO Schweiz AG

After more than 25 years working in IT distribution, most recently as a member of the Group Management and Managing Director of ALSO Schweiz AG, Marc Schnyder has decided to accept a new career challenge outside the IT industry. Marc Schnyder joined the Group on January 1, 1986. Since 1988 he has led the Group company in Switzerland and since 1989 has been a member of Group Management.

The Board of Directors and the Group Management deeply regret this decision and wish Marc Schnyder good luck for his future career", states Gustavo Möller-Hergt, CEO of ALSO Holding AG.

As successor to Marc Schnyder at ALSO Schweiz AG, Harald Wojnowski, until now Head of the Solutions Division, has been named Managing Director. After graduating in electrical engineering from the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology (ETH), Harald Wojnowski began his professional career in 1989 with CTA in Geneva, changing in 1992 to Product Manager at ALSO Schweiz AG. In this function he was responsible for building up various technologies and solutions based on the IT data center. Since 2006, Harald Wojnowski has been Head of the Solutions Division at ALSO Schweiz AG and is a member of the Executive Management. The official handover at ALSO Schweiz AG will take place on February 1, 2014.

Also with effect from February 1, 2014, Urs von Ins is appointed Managing Director Services at ALSO Schweiz AG to further develop the service business. He has led the service business of ALSO Schweiz AG since 2003 and is a member of the Executive Management. Urs von Ins holds a degree in Marketing Management from the University of Berne and has completed the Advanced Management Program at INSEAD Business School in Fontainebleau, France. Urs von Ins reports directly to Harald Wojnowski.

A decision regarding a possible successor to Marc Schnyder in the Group Management of ALSO Holding AG will be taken at a later date.
