ALSO Group: New member of the Board of Directors nominated

As already announced on July 8, 2013, Alfons Frenk has stepped down from the Board of Directors. For this reason, the Board of Directors proposes Dr. Olaf Berlien (51) as a new member of the Board of Directors:

Dr. Olaf Berlien, German citizen, has more than 20 years of experience und a proven track record in various management positions, most recently as a member of the Executive Board of ThyssenKrupp AG, Essen, Germany. From February 2004 until September 2009 he was also Chairman of the Executive Board of ThyssenKrupp Technologies AG and since April 2009 he also served as Chairman of the Executive Board of ThyssenKrupp Elevator AG. From 1999 until March 2002, he was a member of the Executive Board of Carl Zeiss in Oberkochen, Germany, where he was responsible for Finance and Controlling, Information Technology, Personnel, International Sales and the Industrial Metrology Division.

The Board of Directors will propose to the Annual General Meeting on March 13, 2014 in Lucerne, Switzerland, to elect Dr. Olaf Berlien to the Board of Directors of ALSO Holding AG.
