HP maintains a selective distribution network for the distribution and resale of HP products and services. This requires all authorised HP partners (managed and unmanaged) to meet technical and professional standards (Selective Distribution Criteria) to ensure proper marketing of HP products and services.

From 01 November, you may only buy or sell HP Transactional Print products from or to a distributor, retailer, reseller or other vendor that is on the HP Authorised Partner list. If you are listed as an HP Authorised Partner, you can expect the following:
The implementation of the HP Authorised Partner List will help and facilitate the integrity of the selective distribution network, which is critical to a good shopping experience for customers and the protection of the HP brand.
From 01 November 2022, authorised HP Partners may only buy and sell Transactional Print products from or to other listed authorised HP Partners.
You are required to put in place a process and mechanism to check the HP authorised list before buying or selling Transactional Print products. This is to ensure that you only buy or sell print transaction products to authorised HP partners on the list.

The introduction of the HP Authorised Partner List will improve and facilitate the reliability of the selective distribution network. This is essential for a good shopping experience for customers and the protection of the HP brand
As an HP Authorised Partner, you have accepted HP's selective distribution criteria in your HP Partner Agreement and are automatically added to the HP Authorised Partner List.
HP welcomes all vendors who meet the selective distribution criteria to register. If you want to sell Transactional Print products to a customer who is not on the HP Authorised Partner List, refer them to the HP Registration Tool using the invitation letter below. After successful registration and acceptance of HP's terms and conditions, the vendor is added to the HP Authorised Partner List and you can trade with the now listed HP Authorised Partner. The registration tool will remain open indefinitely and vendors can register at any time, before or after 1 November 2022.
